I have this habit of getting really into reading for a month or two then I would stop for a while (even an entire year). I often used reading as a coping method. If I was stressed or wanted to get out of my own head I’d get lost in a book. In 2017, I decided to use reading as a way to relax and learn (as well as a coping method). I feel much more productive after spending an hour reading than spending an hour watching tv.
My goal for 2017 was to read 24 books, which I completed! Hooray! I got lost in a lot of good books, and struggled through some not so well liked books.
